- When you authorize Google access, Co-Drawing receives your Google account identifier, profile details (such as name and picture), email address, and authorization tokens.
- The service stores account and authorization records, plus whiteboard session identifiers, an associated Meet identifier, auto-save preferences, and saved Drive file identifiers.
- Whiteboard content and collaboration state pass through the service to synchronize the canvas with people in the same session. Drive-connected boards may be loaded from and saved to Google Drive.
- Operational logs can include session and file identifiers and error information. Do not put sensitive information into a shared canvas unless you intend to share it with its participants.
How the information is used
Account details and tokens are used to sign you in and access authorized Drive files. Session information connects participants and remembers saving preferences. Whiteboard content is processed to provide collaboration and saving. The Drive permission requested is drive.file, for files created by or opened with the app, rather than access to all files in your Drive.
Google API data is used for these user-facing features. It is not sold or used for advertising. Its use and transfer are subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use restrictions.
Storage and sharing
Account, token, and session records are stored in the application database. Active whiteboards are processed in server memory, and saved content is written to Google Drive when authorized saving is enabled. Participants in the same shared session receive the shared canvas state. Cloud hosting infrastructure processes service data, and Google processes account and Drive requests.
Closing a meeting does not itself delete account records or files saved to Drive. Co-Drawing does not provide an automatic account-data expiry setting. Contact us to request deletion of service-side records. No fixed retention or response period is promised by this policy.
Product analytics and cookies
The Co-Drawing application currently loads Google Analytics and sends page-view events. Google may process technical and usage information, including browser, device, and request information, and use analytics cookies. This is separate from the marketing website, which does not load analytics. See Google’s privacy policy.
The application also uses an authentication cookie to recognize an authorized session. Browser cookie controls can affect analytics and sign-in functionality.
Your choices and deletion
- You can stop using the product and revoke its access in your Google account connections. Revocation prevents future authorized access but does not automatically delete existing service records.
- Manage or delete saved whiteboards directly in Google Drive. Turning off auto-save does not delete files already saved.
- Email [email protected] to request access, correction, or deletion of service-side account data. We may need to verify that the request concerns your account.
- You can control cookies using your browser settings.
This website and support
These marketing and support pages do not load analytics, advertising scripts, or third-party fonts. They are hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and protect the website; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy. If you email us, your email address and message are used to respond to your request.
Policy updates
We will update this page and its date when this policy changes. Material changes to data use will be communicated as required before the changed use begins.
