By using Caption Float, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the product. You may use it only in accordance with applicable laws and the terms of the platforms and content providers you access.
What the product provides
Caption Float displays supported web video and captions in a floating window and offers a YouTube subscription side panel. It requires a compatible version of Chrome. The marketing site currently announces an upcoming Chrome Web Store release; it does not promise a release date.
Features, compatibility, and availability may change. Third-party services and browser changes can affect the product.
Your responsibilities
- Use the product only with content you are entitled to access and share. Respect copyright and the rights of other people.
- Do not use the product to break the law, bypass access restrictions, disrupt services, or gain unauthorized access to data.
- Keep your accounts secure and use care when sharing personal or confidential information.
Your content and ownership
Caption Float does not give you ownership of videos or captions or permission to copy or redistribute them. Rights remain with their owners. Local display of content does not override the source website’s terms.
The product’s code, branding, and other materials remain subject to their respective owners’ rights and applicable licenses.

Availability and limitations

Ending use
You may stop using Caption Float and uninstall it at any time. Review the privacy policy for the distinction between local preferences and synchronized subscriptions. We may discontinue distribution or support, without limiting rights you have under applicable law.
